Why Lacuna Ro Was Created
Our founder, Reece, is neurodiverse and has experienced salon environments from both behind the chair and as a client himself. While salons can feel exciting and creative, they can also be fast-paced, overstimulating, and emotionally exhausting for some people.
Through both personal and professional experience, he recognised that many clients were quietly feeling the same way, wanting beautiful hair without the pressure, overwhelm, or performative atmosphere often associated with traditional salon spaces.

Over the years, many clients shared that salon visits often felt overwhelming, emotionally draining, or even something they avoided altogether.
